Lewis River Lavender Farm: A Family's Fragrant Journey in SW Washington

Our story

Tucked away in the peaceful heart of Southwest Washington, Lewis River Lavender Farm is more than just a place—it’s a family’s dream come to life. This charming, family-run lavender haven is a testament to passion, hard work, and the simple beauty of nature.

The story of Lewis River Lavender Farm began with Pamela and Tony Schaffran, a couple who fell in love with the lush landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. In 2021, they took a leap of faith, purchasing a picturesque piece of land with a vision of creating something truly special—a place where nature and community could flourish side by side.

What started as a dream quickly became a labor of love. Together with their family, Pamela and Tony have poured their hearts into every corner of the farm. Pamela’s horticultural knowledge and Tony’s dedication to sustainable farming practices have helped shape the land into a thriving lavender sanctuary.

The farm is home to an enchanting mix of English lavender varieties, as well as Grosso, a beautifully fragrant hybrid. Each variety is thoughtfully selected for its rich aroma and vibrant color, turning the fields into a breathtaking sea of purple when in full bloom.

Harvest season is a magical time at Lewis River Lavender Farm. The family carefully gathers each bundle at its peak, distilling pure essential oils and handcrafting an array of lavender-infused treasures. From soothing essential oils and fragrant sachets to delicious lavender-infused honey, every product reflects their unwavering commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything they do. By embracing organic, eco-friendly practices, the Schaffrans ensure that their farm remains a thriving, biodiverse haven for both plants and wildlife. Their dedication to land stewardship is a reflection of their deep respect for the natural beauty that surrounds them.

For those who visit, Lewis River Lavender Farm offers more than just lavender—it’s an experience. It’s a place to slow down, breathe in the calming scent of the fields, and connect with nature. As the sun sets and the air fills with the soothing fragrance of lavender, it’s clear that the Schaffrans' dream has not only taken root—it’s flourishing.

They look forward to welcoming visitors, sharing the beauty of their farm, and continuing their journey of growing, creating, and cultivating a fragrant future in Southwest Washington.
